Romano-British Farmstead, Milton Keynes

This expanse of metalled surfacing is associated with a Romano-British farmstead and appears to have given these ancient farmhands a firm surface on which to carry out their daily tasks.

We hope that, by peeling back the layers of surfacing, we are able discover the original farmstead layout and highlight areas associated with specific activities, such as animal husbandry and crop-processing.
