James Brown
BSc (Hons) MRes
Archaeological Illustrator
James studied Palaeontology at Portsmouth University prior to joining the team at Border Archaeology.
While studying bone beds and pterosaur nerves, he managed to build up his computer and artistic skills enough to switch to illustration. He has illustrated papers, press releases, reports, contributed to museum exhibits, and now an Iron Age settlement reconstruction with Border Archaeology for a public engagement talk.
James’s interests are palaeontology related but he also enjoys computer related subjects too.
