Student work placements 2024

Over the years, Border Archaeology has enjoyed offering work experience placements to secondary school students and this year has been a busy one. At our MK office, we have taken on 3 students, Jasmine a Year 10 student for a two-week placement and Callum and Caine, Year 12 students for one week each.

18,800 artefacts discovered in Banbury, Oxfordshire

Border Archaeology and Orbit Homes recent event in Banbury Town Hall showcased and highlighted the discovery of 18,800 historical artefacts, after excavations at Calthorpe Gardens development uncovered archaeological evidence dating from the Prehistoric Mesolithic, Late bronze Age-Middle to Late Iron Age, and through to early Anglo-Saxon times.
