Janice McLeish
Janice studied Archaeology at Glasgow University, graduating in 2005 and also completed a zooarchaeology course at the University of Sheffield.
Janice joined Border Archaeology in 2014 and as Director: Post-Excavation Services, her role encompasses the management of both the Palaeoenvironmental and Finds Departments. She has also been involved in a number of outreach projects within Milton Keynes and continues to be involved with the Company’s community projects. Her main interests are material culture and animal husbandry and the role these played within human cultures. Janice is a member of the Study Group for Roman Pottery (SGRP), the Professional Zooarchaeology Group (PZG), and the Lithics Studies Group.
